The Valley of Sorek

The Valley of Sorek—Samson had a call on his life from God and a special gift of strength. His weakness was that he wanted to do what was right in his own eyes. This led to a crisis in the Valley of Sorek where he encountered temptation to please himself. The Valley of Sorek is a valley of vision, where, like Samson, we are confronted with the decision of whether we will do what is right in God’s eyes or only our own.
